Particpants will engage in a hands on workshop learning the characterization techniques of the single molar and the difficult, yet artful, matching of the single unit anterior, followed by a virtual conversation from a master research specialist who has dedicated his focus on the art of material sciences.

Dr. rOSS IS A NATIonALY RECOGNIZED CAD CAM DENTIST, SPEAKER, AND TRAINER WHO HAS DEVELOPED SOME OF THE MOST CUTTING EDGE TECHNIQUES IN MODERN DIGITAL DENTISTRY, FROM ESTHETICS TO GUIDED IMPLANT SURGERY. HE IS THE AUTHOR OF NEARLY A DOZEN PUBLISHED ARTICLES AND HAS TAUGHT FOR CDOCS, SPEAR EDUCATION, AND IVOCLAR. HE ESPECIALLY ENJOYS HELPING OTHERS MAXIMIZE THEIR UTILIZATION OF TECHNOLOGY.

GUEST SPEAKER/MATERIALS EXPERT
Thomas Hill, PhD graduated from the University of Florida in 2001. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Material Science and Engineering with a focus on ceramics. He specialized in dental ceramics at the university while on an NIH grant. He has been employed for 20 years as the Manager of Scientific Services at Ivoclar Vivadent where he oversees the North American Ivoclar sponsored clinical trials and In vitro studies. Dr. Hill continues to mentor university students and has been published on various topics in dental materials. He is a member of the Academy of Dental Materials and a member of the ADA committees on development of standards for dental ceramics and CAD/CAM in dentistry.
